The Ancient Order of Hibernians is the oldest Irish-Catholic lay organization in America, having been formed in 1836. The AOH is a non-profit organization and its purpose is to promote Irish culture and foster and perpetuate the history and traditions of the Irish people. The AOH currently has over 36,000 members in America.
